Danika Vautour is a Canadian visual artist, who returned from her life abroad in 2020. She specialises in ceramics and has been working with the material for over 5 years.
She graduated from the New Brunswick College of Craft and Design where she received her Diploma in Ceramics (2017) and her Certificate in Foundation Visual Arts (2015). During her time at the college she also studied photography, drawing, and painting. In her studio practice, she uses a variety of mediums to create pieces that reflect the way she sees everyday life. Her work is profoundly influenced by minimalism and her ties to nature.
Over the years, she has been involved with numerous exhibitions and collaborations both nationally and internationally. She continues to be recognised for her work and has received a number of awards in her professional career.
She can usually be found teaching workshops while exploring creatively and developing her portfolio.
